I would like to share my experience in quitting smoking. The main problem I had was that we used to smoke a lot with my friends. So even when I was trying to quit smoking it was very difficult not to smoke while my friends are smoking and they used to offer cigarettes to me - especially seeing me sad or upset. So, actually I wanted to quit, but I lacked strenght. So in around 1 month I decreased the amount fo cigarettes I used to smoke daily and what I did after was 2 months trying to avoid meeting my friends in places where it's allowed to smoke, I tried to change also other habits, so my mind wasn't busy just with smoking. These 2 months I was eating healthy, exercising a lot, not attending parties and no alcohol at all - and I succeeded with this all!!! I slept much better, I felt lighter and happier, I controlled not only smoking, but also eating.
You get addicted not only to nicotine, but also to that oral process, and if you don't have a cigerette - you will automatically look for some food. That's why I find it very essential to have stronger control over my eating especially when quitting to smoke.
SO, back to my story - two months of life without smoking, unhealthy food, parties and friends, but with self-control and exercising made me to feel really good. When after these 2 months I went out to a party I recieved a lot of compilments and I was for sure the coolest girl on the dance floor

, but... Being agan with my friends and going out to dance regularly - that's just so much of fun and positive emotions!!! And I felt back into smoking.
So, now I'm again back on the way of healthy living and trying to quit smoking together with some of my friends - it's much easier when somebody is doing it together with you!
