Hi all I am 23 and really need some good tips on losing weight. I would like to lose about 20 lbs. I'm wondering if anyone could give me some good weight loss tips. I dont believe in dieting, but rather realistic lifestyle changes. Like eating healthier without depriving myself and still being about to eat the things I like in moderation. Is there a certain number of calories to consum in a day? I also would like some exercise ideas I could do at home. I hate the gym and with my work, I dont have time to go to one or the money. I also need some good advice on chosing from Acomplia, Xenical or Reductil if anyone of them can make my weight loss goals achieved. Any tips would be great...thanks.
thats 100% right diets cant work in the long run .running is a good way to start losing weight 2500 cals is amount for male in non manual job.if u could run in the morning that be even better get metabolism going .u can eat healthy but u got to have some food u enjoy so long as u burn more calories than u consume u be fine i dont eat healthy food all the time still have crisps chocolate etc but exercise most days even if only few press ups sohave lost over 50 ibs and kept it off but was still running even @nearly 16 stone .swimming is good to if running isnt toi ur taste walking or cycling is fine any thing that gets ur heart beating faster.but u do have to watch the calories thats y i was nearly 16 st even with running 3x aweek. good luck ist well worth the effort .
It's a pity you hate the gym - because weight training is the quickest, healthiest way to achieve healthy weight loss. Build enough muscle mass, and you'll never be fat again. Haven't got the time? How about two forty minute sessions a week, doing short sets (6 reps x 3) of five exercises that work your whole body and keep you burning calories for hours afterwards? And you won't be eating less - you'll be eating more and better.
I completely agree with tuft...That only 100% right diet can't help you in long run... You should also start running in morning regularly..It will help you to burn more calories and always try to eat only healthy food....
Eat tiny meals every two hours to avoid feeling hungry. It will increase your metabolism. Never skip breakfast. Have a light dinner (the smallest meal and the lightest). I hate to say this, but you need at least an hour of exercise. Best in the morning!
Losing weight fast is what everyone wants, but losing weight slowly actually allows your body to adjust and keep weight off for longer. Set goals for losing weight but think of it as a long term venture.
