I think this is the right section for this sort of question. If not, I'm sorry and please move it to the right section. Thanks.

I'm on a cardio exercise routine (ride the bike for 1 hour everyday). My goal is to lose a bit of weight. The problem is, I love to eat. Sometimes I love it so much I lose all will power to refrain from eating all that fatty delicious food, or help myself to seconds at dinner, or have a bedtime snack before I go to bed. I honestly do try, but sometimes the cravings get the better of me.

So I just wanted to know if there's anyone out there with tips on how to strengthen my will power.

Don't look at it as 'going on a diet'. Look at it as a lifestyle plan; it's how you should eat the rest of your life.

Motivation? Maybe put notes around where you'll see them; on your dresser, refrig, etc

Hi Nikki,

The truth is that its is a life long struggle being fat. I have been dieting for years and my weight continues to fluctuate.

It is a battle of the body and the mind but with support I have found online I am confident in overcoming it. Good luck,

Maria
